The LENSAR® Laser has led the industry with more upgrades than any other femtosecond cataract laser platform. This ongoing innovation is a demonstration of our commitment to meet the needs of surgeons and their patients by guiding better refractive outcomes for any IOL.

The LENSAR® Laser has led the industry with more upgrades than any other femtosecond cataract laser platform. This ongoing innovation is a demonstration of our commitment to meet the needs of surgeons and their patients by guiding better refractive outcomes for any IOL.

2010 First LENSAR Laser cases performed OUS

2012 First LENSAR cases performed in US
The LENSAR Laser System was the first femtosecond cataract laser designed specifically for cataract surgery, with special attention given to meet the unique needs of cataract surgeons and their patients. Augmented Reality imaging provided surgeons with a 3-D model of the anterior segment and lens tilt detection to guide laser treatment with unsurpassed precision.

2013 510(k) clearance for arcuate incisions (previously cleared for corneal incisions, cap, and frag)
The addition of arcuate incisions provided surgeons with the flexibility to fine-tune patients’ refractive outcomes regardless of IOL by reducing residual astigmatism.

2015 Streamline® I with five new application upgrades including wireless integration with Cassini® and iris registration
The advent of Streamline ushered in a host of new features dedicated to helping surgeons reduce sources of refractive error, improve precision, and add to their efficiencies with procedural automation.

2016 Streamline II includes IntelliAxis®-C steep axis corneal marking
IntelliAxis-C, the predecessor to IntelliAxis Refractive Capsulorhexis®, provided surgeons with the ability to mark the cornea with the precision of the LENSAR Laser, eliminating the need for manual ink markings.

2017 Streamline III Enables wireless integration with Pentacam
Streamline III expanded compatibility options for wireless pre-op diagnostic integration.

2017 Streamline IV Introduces IntelliAxis Refractive Capsulorhexis®
IntelliAxis Refractive Capsulorhexis improved guidance for toric IOL alignment by including marks for the steep axis as part of the capsulorhexis, which also eliminated parallax inherent to corneal markings.

2018 Clearance for flaps and pockets for presbyopia inlays
Additional innovations allowed for more opportunities to utilize the laser beyond cataract surgery.
